**AK – The Game** is a pixel-art action-platformer where you play as *AK*, a magical bard with a sharp tongue and even sharper moves. Journey through the cursed land of Askverg, mocking your enemies to death (sometimes literally), dodging the undead, and building a ragtag team of misfits.

AK talks a lot. He also fights a lot. And occasionally writes sad poetry when no one's looking. (AK: Hey! don't tell the soon-to-be Payer that!!)

## 🧠 Why This Game Exists

I made AK because I grew up with games like *Mega Man*— but I wanted something with more *attitude*. A game that blends fast-paced combat, quirky storytelling, and a main character that breaks the fourth wall with his boot.
